Year 3 Home Learning
If you cannot for any reason access your work on Google Classroom, you can click or tap on the button called “CLASSWORK”. The button should be located right next to this paragraph!
Firstly, we as a year group, would like to express that we understand that these are difficult and yet again unprecedented times. We understand that you may be worried but we would like to let you know that we are still here for you and your child/children.
Furthermore, we are contactable through the school phone number above or on our year group email at email@example.com throughout the school day. We have also set up Google Classroom. This is where we will provide the main home learning material and your child can also interact with us through this. If you wish to share their work you can also tag us on Twitter, using the handle @kensingprimary. We know we need to keep physical distance at this time but it is important that we continue to keep in contact on a daily basis as your child’s learning and well-being is a priority for us all.
Please find below important information with regards to your child/s home learning.
How to access home learning:
You can find home learning content in the following places (school website, google classroom, weekly home packs) but Google Classroom is the most interactive.
Step 1- search for google classroom or click on the following link http://classroom.google.com
Step 2 – use your child’s school email address and password to login to their account (these will be emailed to your personal email account soon- if you don’t receive it contact school!)
Step 3- Click on your class
Step 4 – access the work through the classwork tab at the top of the page.
Step 5 – complete work on google docs and submit using the hand in button
(You can also share your work with your class mates and your teacher can provide you with instant feedback.)
Follow the link below to access your work on the school website. This can then be emailed over to us by taking a picture or sending the file to firstname.lastname@example.org
Weekly work packs
These will only be available for those children who DO NOT have access to the internet at home. Remote (Google classroom) learning is the best way to access work.
Work will be available to collect from the school office at a set time every Monday if you do not have access to the internet at home. School will be in touch to arrange this.
Thank you in advance for your help and support.
We hope to see you soon.
Mr R. Hilton, Miss R. Moran and Miss L. Telfer.
