Hello and welcome to 6W’s home page!
We are a 3 form entry school, this means there are 3 classes per year group.
Our year 6 team consists of:
6W, Mrs Willshire ( Class teacher)
6P: Mr Paton (Class teacher)
6C: Miss Cleary ( class teacher)
We are lucky to have 2 LSA’s Mr Telfer and Mrs Kewin.

We are a lively bunch in 6W and really enjoy our lessons.
We understand that in year 6 we need to work hard and a lot is expected from us.
We understand the importance of being a role model and adhere to the IB learner profile.

PE day
PE is on a Friday every week. You are required to wear black shorts and a white T.Shirt.
No football kits are allowed.
Children must come to school in their uniform, they will change for PE.

Class Library
Not only do we have an extensive class library we also have our school library…. Not just one ks2 library but 2 libraries…. filled with many different genres and information texts.
UPCOMING EVENT!
Come and join us on Wednesday 26th June 2024 for our year 6 production of Moana! Tickets are available from our school office at a cost of £1, no ticket no entry! Entry from 6.45pm
If you are unable to join us on Wednesday, you could come along on Thursday 1.45pm.

FUN DAY!!!
15th July. Children in year 6 will have a fun day! Inflatables during the school day and then a leavers party 3.30 - 4.30pm. Children are invited to wear their own clothes for the day. Children WILL NOT need any money for this.

9.30am... Leavers assembly, parents are welcome to help us celebrate year 6 leaving Kensington
Primary School.
We ask ALL CHILDREN MUST WEAR FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM!
This is not a ticketed event.
Tuesday 16th July 2024: Fancy Dress!
Be creative, be unique! Our annual event of a fancy dress parade will take place 1.30pm on Tuesday 16th July! Children will dress up and then show the school their costumes. We like to do this event on the yard ( weather permitting). If the weather isn't great, then we will be in the school hall.
Not a ticketed event.
PLEASE NOTE!!!! Children are not permitted to sign shirts until after the leavers' assembly! Signing shirts is not compulsory, some children may prefer to sign an autograph book or make a poster.
Children will receive their hoodies after the leavers' performance.
