Attendance
We believe good attendance is essential if children are to be settled and take full advantage of the learning and development opportunities available to them. At a young age, continuity and consistency are important contributors to a child’s well-being and progress. We also believe that a good attendance routine Reception sets the pattern for when they move into KS1 and their statutory school journey continues.
Establishing regular routines for your children at an early age is extremely important. It will benefit both you and your children as they progress through their school life, and limit the chances of poor attendance, which will have a negative effect on their enjoyment and achievement. Evidence has shown that children who have a smooth and positive start at school remain high achievers throughout their primary education and beyond. Please speak to Mrs Park or any other member of staff if you are struggling to get your child into school and we can try to help you.
