Pupil Panel
In September, all children from Year 1 to Year 6 have the opportunity to put themselves forward to be a member of our Pupil Panel.
Those children interested in becoming a Pupil Panel Member should take away and write a Persuasive Statement or Persuasive Poster You may want to give them a few days to put their statement together in school or at home. These are read to the class and question and answer sessions are held. Children are then asked to vote within their own class, two boy nominees and two girl nominees. An election is held early in the Autumn term to elect one boy and one girl from each year group.
Pupil Panel Members
Our first meeting was held on Monday 21st October 2024. We discussed the role of our Pupil Panel and how we were going to represent the children`s voices from their year groups. The first task was to find out what children wanted on the menu for after Christmas. Their second task was to ask the children what activities their peers would like to see during Enquiry Time and lunchtimes.
Our second meeting was held on Monday 18th October. Each Pupil Panel member fed back ideas that they had gathered from their year groups to Guiseppe who is our cook. Miss Cant also attended to listen and gather ideas for future planning of Enquiry Times and lunchtimes.
